The black tarmac on the left seems to be some kind of unofficial cycle path connecting through to the advisory cycle lane here.

Remember to press the button at some of the traffic signal controlled junctions along CycleSuperhighway CS3 - or you could watch lots of traffic movements and wonder why your turn doesn't come around.

Lost! Somehow we've got separated from Cycle Superhighway 3 and although it feels like we're on a cycleway the absence of CS3 signs ought to have told us to go back.
